Personalised and effective Physiotherapy treatment
in Headcorn, Kent

What we treat

Physiotherapy can be a useful form of treatment for a wide range of issues that can impact your quality of life; whether it's a recent sports injury, persistent back or joint pain or recovery after an operation, we're here to help, and get you back doing the things you enjoy.

Typically we suggest if an injury has just occurred and it does not require urgent medical attention, then it's best to wait at least 72 hours before seeing a physiotherapist, this is to allow the injury to settle and give natural healing a chance to take place. Otherwise we are happy to assess any joint, tendon, ligament, muscle pain or injury.

If you have any queries about whether physiotherapy is appropriate for you, then feel free to get in touch.

At this time we do not have associations with any insurance companies and sessions will not be covered.

How we treat

Ultimately, you are the expert in your pain. That's why all initial assessments begin with a discussion to gather all the relevant information to start painting a picture about the cause of your issue. Following this we'll perform a physical assessment to further investigate the issue and from here we can discuss what your likely diagnosis is and how best we can manage it.

Physiotherapy treatment should always aim to help you manage your pain as independently as possible, as such, practical advice and exercise is often the mainstay of the treatment. However, sometimes we all need a helping hand and therefore treatment may also include hands-on manual therapy such as mobilisations and massage, or alternatively methods such as taping.

Based at the Weald of Kent Golf Course in Headcorn, sessions will be in the private clinic room and the well equipped gym, utilising whatever equipment we need to help you back on your way.
